Hi, I'm Jacqueline
I’m a wife, a mom, a grandma – and a woman who’s spent most of her life learning how to live fully with chronic illness.
I created Love Through It All as a space for stories that are raw, real, and rooted in hope. I’ve lived with Crohn’s disease since I was 15 years old. I’ve had life-saving surgery, an ostomy, and more hospital stays than I can count. I know what it’s like to feel broken – physically, emotionally, and spiritually – and to still wake up and try again the next day.
But this blog isn’t just about illness.
It’s about marriage. It’s about resilience. It’s about loss and grief. It’s about learning how to hold onto yourself even as life pulls you in directions you never asked for.
Why I Started This Blog (And Wrote the Book)
For years, people encouraged me to write my story. I always said I would – someday. It wasn’t until my doctors reminded me how far I’ve come and how much my story could help others that I finally said yes.
That “someday” became Love Through It All, and the memoir I’m writing:
Pieces of Me: Surviving chronic illness – and everything that came with it
This blog gives you a front-row seat to the journey – both behind the book and beyond it. Whether you’re facing your own health challenges or loving someone who is, I hope you’ll find comfort, perspective, and community here.
